I've always been treated very well here. The staff is courteous and I rarely have to wait much past my scheduled appointment time. An unscheduled visit will take much longer but they can't very well staff for unscheduled visits. My only complaint is my doctor has a very thick accent and I have a very hard time understanding her. I'm going to see if I can change my primary care doctor for this reason.
Arrived at 12:30 on a Friday to drop off prescription for new glasses. "Troy" had just left for lunch. I was told he would be back at 1:30. I waited. At 1:10 "Troy" walked into his office and shut the door. At 1:30 he walked out of his office and left the building. When I inquired, I was told he had gone for the day. 2 other veterans were waiting for him as well. Unbelievable that anyone would be treated this way. He was well aware we were there waiting on him. This is only 1 of the many issues I've had with the VA.
I have seen sweeping changes in the service and care provided and normally have no problems at all.
Professional, caring staff and volunteers. On time appointment. Love this clinic!
This clinic is a huge improvement over the previous location (Oakwood) both in facilities and personnel attitudes. Too bad this overall improvement does not yet apply to Decatur
